Microsoft Dynamics Nav Developer Jobs in Nairobi

A leading solutions integrator is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics Nav Developer who is passionate on project implementation with good project management knowledge.

Location: Nairobi

Salary: based on experience

Responsibilities

Design, analysis, development and deployment of Microsoft Dynamics Nav & .net solutions

Installation, upgrade, support, and documentation of Dynamics NAV

Work closely with business consultants to translate user requirements into functional specifications then into technical development

Providing onsite and offsite consulting services and support to Dynamics NAV clients

Provide training to Navision system users

Supporting standard and customized client modifications during systems implementation efforts
Microsoft Dynamics development and integration with .net, share point and GIS

Requirements gathering and documentation

Testing (test cases, test plans, bug tracking and change management control)

Migrating data and developing documents

Job Qualifications

A minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in software development based on MS

Dynamics NAV platform

Certification in Dynamics NAV, preferably:

Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 or later C/SIDE

Development and Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 or later Installation & Configuration

Experience developing for both Classic and Web Client

Experience developing RTC

Three Tier Environment

SQL setup and configuration for NAV 2013 and later versions

Dynamics NAV Web Services

Mobile Development

High level technology know-how in .NET, C#, SQL & HTML 5 Experience

Proven practical experience with Client-Server programming technologies

Experience with Dynamics NAV Jobs, Service and Warehouse modules.

Experience participating in Work Scoping & Estimation

Strong understanding of the SDLC

Ability to solve complex tasks

Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities with ease

Excellent communication, planning and organization skills
