Job Specifications

Duties and responsibilities will entail:

Implementing policies, projects and programmes in relation to Micro and Small Enterprise;

Marketing Authority programmes;

Writing proposals for funding;

Implementing programmes and projects;

Providing business counselling;

Evaluating training programmes /exhibition events;

Liaising with stakeholders on program implementation;

Compiling training /exhibition reports;

Coordinating regional events and programmes;

Preparing periodic and quarterly reports;

Disseminating information on MSE Fund ; and

Evaluating the implementation of projects and program relating to or affecting MSEs.

Person specifications

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-

Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Entrepreneurship,Business Management, Administration, Strategic Management, AgriBusiness, Marketing; Commerce; Enterprise Development; Human Resource Management /Development Arts and design or any other social sciences from a recognized institution;

Attended a Supervisory course lasting not less than two (2) weeks is an added advantage

A minimum of four (4) years in relevant work experience;

Proficiency in computer application;

Shown merit and ability as a reflected in work performance and results; and

Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
