Responsibilities
Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures for MFANO
Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (Business Design, UX, UI, Legal, Sales, Finance etc.)
Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
Evaluate the company’s performance by analysing and interpreting data and metrics
Write and submit reports to the Managing Director and Lead Designer in all matters of importance
Manage relationships with Clients and partners
Overseeing human resource policies and procedures
Building a constructive and professional work environment
Managing messages to and from the Managing Director and Lead Designer
Identifying areas to improve cost efficiency and performance.
Research and implementing new development projects.
Carrying out special tasks assigned by Managing Director and Lead Designer
Identifying problems in operations and availing possible
Recommendations. Implementing plans to solve problems and increase
efficiency
Requirements
Proven experience as Chief Operating Office or relevant role
Strategy, must be excellent at strategic thinking, be open to new perspectives and better ways to do things and be creative, a visionary, and manage innovation well.
Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc.
Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
Experience in fundraising will be a plus
Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office
Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
Previous working experience as COO for atleast 2 years
In-depth knowledge of different business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc.
Hands on experience in fundraising, strategic planning and business development
Good knowledge of data analysis and KPIs
