Meru County Government Procurement Assistant(Supply Chain Management Assistant III) Jobs in Kenya

p>The County Government of Meru wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill vacancies in the following departments as per the constitution of Kenya 2010.


Department of Finance, Economic Planting & ICT

Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper warehouse and distribution
    management
  • Proper fleet management
  • Prepare monthly reports
  • Dispose of stores and equipment
  • Procurement market survey and research
  • Ensure good inventory control within the
    department
  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

    Qualifications

  • Be a Kenyan citizen
  • Must have KCSE C+ and above or its equivalent qualification.
  • Be a holder of a Bachelor’s
    degree in Supply Chain Management/Purchasing
    and Supply, Management/Supplies and
  • Procurement Management or their equivalent from any recognized institution
  • Must have excellent communication and
    interpersonal skills.
  • Must be self-driven with a lot of initiative and drive
  • Proficiency in computer applications

  • Ability to get on with diverse workforce.
  • Must have excellent communication and
    interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to take instructions.
  • Good organizational skills and supervisory skills
  • Good knowledge in the professional field of
    specialization.
