Merti Integrated Development Programme Fundraising Officer Jobs in Kenya



Duties and Respnsibilities

  • Implement the resource mobilization strategy with clear deliverables and targets based on the organization’s strategic plan

  • Establish, maintain and strengthen relations with key Funding partners, the Board of Directors, and other stakeholders.

  • In consultation with the Programme Manager engage and support the Board of Directors in resource mobilization activities.

  • Oversee the implementation of an effective outreach strategy to reach donors (individuals, the private sector, and international funders) in resource mobilization activities.

  • Work closely with the Program team in designing and implementing effective and diverse profile-raising activities for MID-Ps mission work, which is key to successful fundraising.

  • Execute fundraising and event sponsorship campaigns.

  • Research, identify and develop new fundraising opportunities and areas of potential support for the organization’s long-term sustainability.

  • Coordinate with the Programs Department to generate reports for donors.

  • Writing and producing compelling concepts and proposals and campaign reports.

  • Participate in periodic reviews of the organization’s strategy, programs and management initiatives.

  • Report to the Board of Directors on the result of fundraising and Resource Mobilization efforts.

  • Lead in Monitoring of the social enterprise and promote income generation.
