The company seeks to recruit a dynamic, innovative, self-driven individual to fill the following vacancy:
Reports to: Retail Business Manager
Liaises with: Managing Director, Service Centre Managers, Team Leaders, Optical Assistants, Senior Accountant
To implement marketing programmes to promote and communicate products, services and events in line with the marketing strategy..
Responsibilities
Marketing action Planning
• Implement marketing and advertising campaigns by preparing marketing and advertising initiatives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; updating event calendars.
• Plan meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing lists.
• Review, research and develop and keep promotional materials such as flyers, newsletters, and giveaways ready by coordinating requirements with service providers; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt and manage distribution.
• In liaison with the RBM and content development focal persons/consultants/partners, develop content for social media sites and company website.
• Attend events (corporate and outreach activities) to promote company services and programs in order to generate attendance and/or revenue. Write scripts and prepare computer-aided slide shows and other presentations for the purpose of marketing company programs and services.
Accountability & Analysis
• Prepare sales reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data.
• Carry out market research to identify new product opportunities, existing and potential competition and market trends, identify and evaluate product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; and maintain research databases
Customer Relations
• Monitor service and sales within the various service centres to ensure delivery of outstanding customer experience.
