Main Purpose of Job Mediclinic Southern Africa is a healthcare provider operating in South Africa and Namibia focused on providing acute care, specialist-orientated, multidisciplinary hospital services are currently in search of Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary for Perm and Fixed-term contract
We are currently in process of building talent pools for the Western Cape regions in include, Western Cape Inland Region: Mediclinic Cape Gate , Mediclinic Durbanville ; Mediclinic Louis Leipoldt ; Mediclinic Paarl ; Mediclinic Panorama ; Mediclinic Stellenbosch / Winelands ; Mediclinic Upington ; Mediclinic Worcester
Western Cape Coastal Region: Mediclinic Cape Town ; Mediclinic Constantiaberg ; Mediclinic George Mediclinic Hermanus ; Mediclinic Plettenberg Bay ; Mediclinic Strand ; Mediclinic Milnerton ; Mediclinic Vergelege
The main purpose of the job : To deliver safe, comprehensive and quality nursing care according to the Scope of Practice
Required Education
Essential Education: Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary Certificate
Desired Education: Continuous Professional Development (CPD) courses for specific speciality areas
Required Experience
Desired Experience: 1 year post qualification experience
Key Responsibility Areas
Deliver basic nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
Identify, prevent and report risks to ensure patient
safety
Contribute to a positive patient experience by assisting in the creation of a conducive environment
Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions
Participate in creating a learning environment that builds staff competence
Ensure that all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charged.
Required Job Skills and Knowledge
Infection prevention and control (IPC) principles and protocols.
Scope of practice for enrolled nurse auxiliaries.
Scientific nursing principles and process.
Patient assessment skills.
Nursing processes and procedures.
Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
Relevant nursing legislation.
Risk identification.
Basic life support trained.
