Main Purpose of Job

  • To manage stock levels in theatre.

    Key Responsibility Areas

  • Ensure the availability of theatre stock.

  • Ensure availability of theatre charge sheets.

  • Ensure the maintenance of stock holding processes in the theatre.

    Required Education

  • Essential Education: Grade 12 (Matric)

    Required Experience

  • Essential Minimum Experience: Stock control experience in a private hospital environment.

  • Desired Experience: Working in a theatre environment.

    Required Job Skills and Knowledge

  • Stock replenishment processes and relevant policies.

  • Stock holding processes and relevant policies.

  • Surgical product knowledge.

  • Pharmacy policies and procedures.

  • AS400 system.

  • Prosthesis / implant products knowledge.

  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
