We are leading marketing and magazine publication agency looking for a strong and experienced Media Sales Specialist who is ready to undertake the following roles

  • Taking a lead in clients’ marketing and advertising strategies
  • Leading a team to provide the utmost level of client service
  • Liaising with clients at a senior level on a day-to-day basis
  • Promoting the expansion of business with existing clients
  • Working with other senior managers to generate new accounts
  • Completing projects to a specific schedule and within an agreed budget
  • Using your skills to push clients, and the agency, creatively and strategically
  • Overall growth and development of accounts in his group.
  • Meeting profit goals on each account in his group.
  • Maintaining a high level of performance by the account teams and other agency personnel, as needed.
  • Keeping management informed of the status of his group’s accounts, problems, plans and meetings, as well as involving Management personnel at key times

    Key Skills & Competencies

  • Significant experience in professional client relationship management
  • A background in advertising, design or marketing
  • Business proposal preparation and presentation; pitching
  • Prior working experience with leading media houses handling agency business
  • Proven experience in selling business to
    advertising agencies on behalf of major media houses
  • The ability to plan and strategize at a senior level
  • A persuasive and confident approach to creative projects
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Effective team management capabilities
  • A keen attention to detail and budgetary restraints
  • Full awareness of creative processes and techniques – including digital platforms

    Education Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business related field
  • At least 3 years’ experience as advertising sales specialist
  • Previous experience of working with a marketing agency is an added advantage
