Médecins du Monde Finance and Administrative Coordinator for Ethiopia Vacancy; In support of our work in Ethiopia, MdM Germany is looking for an experienced Finance and Administrative Coordinator based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with frequent travels in the country.
The Finance and Adminstrative Coordinator is responsible for the overall financial and administrative management of the programme in Ethiopia as per MdM GE, donors and legal requirements. He/she will lead the respective department and strengthen it by updating and ensuring adequate implementation of policies, procedures and tools.
Responsibilities *Supervise and ensure the correct planning and monitoring of all expenses through the accountancy (accountancy software: WINPACCS) at all locations and be responsible for the monthly closure plus improve and adapt the accounting and financial monitoring system.
*Prepare donor budgets in cooperation with the project team and financial reports in a timely manner.
*Ensure compliance with all local legal requirements, thereby follow up on governmental demands and decrees that have a direct impact on the work of MdM Germany in Ethiopia.
*Ensure partners compliance with donors’ regulations on financial management, check financial reports, provide training and supervision where necessary and ensure proper archive of the partners’ financial documents.
*Define training needs and provide guidance on professional development for all finance and administrative staff.

*The Finance and Administrative Coordinator reports to the General Coordinator in Addis Ababa and is in direct contact with the Programme Administrator in Munich/Headquarters.
Your professional Profile*Higher education in finance, business administration or a
related field,
*At least 4 years of experience in a similar position with the ability to lead a team in a complex environment, including at least 2 years of experience working abroad
*Experience in working with international donors (e.g. GFFO, BMZ, ECHO),
*Experience in developing partnerships and working with local partner organizations is an asset,
*Knowledge of WINPACCS is a strong asset,
*Experience in the Horn of Africa is an asset,
*Fluency in English (written and verbal),
*Confident and proficient in the use of MS Office, especially in Excel.
