Who You'll Work With You will be based in one of our global offices and will join Finance Planning & Analysis team (FP&A). FP&A is responsible for performance management, strategic growth opportunity identification and prioritization, planning and forecasting, analysis of key economic drivers, cost redesign and action-oriented management analysis.
What You'll Do
You’ll help drive the planning process for the firm across ~25 countries and central functions.
In this role, you will cover various planning dimensions including client service professionals, professional fees, OpEx budgets, support staff growth and broader resource allocation choices/ decisions.
You will also facilitate in-flight funding and reallocation decisions across firm operating pillars that align to the strategic priorities. In conjunction with CFO, you are expected to influence and facilitate decisions regarding economic objectives and portfolio distribution across the operating committee (OpCo) and firm investment committee (FIC).
You will help shape and lead the broader performance management suite for firm Finance. This includes evolving KPIs, reshaping reporting and providing regular updates to the various committees. You will collaborate with firm committees, functional leads and cell-based CFOs to ensure consistency, harmonization and continuous improvement across the broader performance management suite and strategic priorities.
You will provide thought leadership and analytical insight to global finance initiatives which are sponsored by the CFO / FIC (e.g., firm economic models, F/X exposure, economic distorters etc.). You will proactively uncover insights / drivers of firm performance, flagging for appropriate colleagues and offering subsequent analysis and recommendations.
You will help champion modernization and improvement of the firm’s financial management
reporting processes and systems. There is an exception to lead teams, providing direction and guidance across various workstreams that impact each other.
Qualifications
4-year college degree preferably in the area of finance; graduate degree is a plus.
10+ years of work experience in various areas of finance in a global role.
Demonstrated the ability to work effectively in teams and strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Experience in supporting management and leadership by providing insight, analysis and financial results for review is a plus.
Experience in dynamic model building and design.
Comfortable interacting with audiences of all levels and specialties.
Prior experience leading initiatives end-to-end, including coaching peers in these efforts and leading change management.
Strong management skills with ability to coach and develop junior colleagues.
Strong analytics/reporting background and experience of a professional firm's economics.
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word).
Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to structure ambiguous problems; strong organizational skills.
Exceptional communication skills with senior leaders.
