Mbarara University of Science and Technology Mechanic Jobs in Uganda


Qualifications

  • a diploma in automotive or mechanical engineering from a recognized institution

  • At least three years’ experience in vehicle repair and maintenance in a busy organization

    Duties and Responsibilities

  • Providing advice to management on current and future transport requirements.

  • Ensuring that vehicles are maintained and repaired on time.

  • Performing spot safety checks to ensure vehicle are in safe mechanical condition at all times and are fully equipped with up-to-date safety kits.

  • Inspecting and maintenance of generators.

  • Carrying out minor repairs of vehicles and generators.

  • Carrying out pre and post assessment of vehicles due for service and or repair.

  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
