Job Purpose

To provide technical support on routine economic policy engagements and revenue generation plans and programmes

Job Description and Duties

Assisting in analyzing the impact of tax policy on economic growth and development

Analyzing sectoral revenue performance and providing analytical briefing

Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual revenue reports and policy briefs

Collecting and building database on taxes and macroeconomic variables

Assisting in the initiation of tax policies that enhances tax revenue mobilization
Collecting and sorting data on tax analysis

Person Specifications:

Academic Qualifications

Academic Qualifications An honor’s Bachelor’s Degree in either Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Business Computing, taxation or Statistics course from a recognized University or Institution of higher learning

Technical

Economic policy, execution and reporting
