Mavuno Church is a Christ Centered, Non-Denominational Bible believing Church with 19 campuses in 10 countries.

We draw our mission from Matt 19:20-21 with a vision of turning ordinary people into fearless influencers of society.

In order to realize our mission and vision, the church seeks to engage the services of highly qualified and enthusiastic individuals for the following positions;

Graphic Designer

Purpose of the Role

Oversee the design and delivery of high quality imaging in line with the target audience of Mavuno Church.

The position holder must have a genuine passion for the work and be able to translate ideas and concepts into creative visuals for print and online purposes.

Key duties and responsibilities

Offer expert advice for proper marketing and design choices

Receive projects with design direction and complete them on time and with high attention to detail.

Study design briefs and determine requirements

Schedule projects and define budget constraints

Conceptualize visuals based on requirements

Prepare rough drafts and present ideas

Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand

Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic

Work with other team members to produce final design

Test graphics across various media

Amend designs after feedback

Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities;

3 years minimum proven experience in graphic design

Ability to work quickly to meet strict deadlines

Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts or relevant qualification in related

field

Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)

A keen eye for aesthetics and details

Background in After Effects, Premiere and photography a plus – added advantage

Basic understanding of WordPress or other web management software – added advantage
