Marsabit County Inspector (Mechanical – MVP) Jobs in Kenya

Duties and Responsibilities

This is the entry grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will be based in the County/Sub County workshops and will be attached to a motor vehicle or plant repair section. The officer will be supervised by a senior officer in the repair and maintenance of motor vehicles and plant; the officer will: – inspect and test vehicles and equipment before and after repairs; The officer will conduct proficiency tests for drivers.

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: –

A Diploma (Automotive) or other approved equivalent qualification; and

A valid Driving License.

Five years’ work experience

Personal Qualities

In addition to the above requirements, an officer must have the following qualities:

Ability to get on well with the diverse workforce

Good knowledge in the professional field of specialization

Good communication skills

Ability to work with minimum supervision

Good organizational and supervisory skills
