Job Description

We are recruiting for the exciting role of an Executive Chef at The Protea Hotel by Marriott Lagos Kuramo Waters.

This unique opportunity is for a distinguished leader and a professional who will head our kitchen with a cuisine career spanning Europe, North America, Africa and Asia styled menu.

The successful candidate will also work with our General Manager

Job Responsibilities

Manage a team of culinary professionals in a fast-paced environment

Have ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail

Follow 100% HACCP guidelines in the workplace and following these procedures is essential
Design menus in conjunction with Food and Beverage Manager. These need to meet the target market and are in line with the operating concept for the restaurant

Assume responsibility for increasing departmental sales and profit

Maximise payroll costs by maximising the productivity and efficient scheduling employees

Control food cost and wastage
