Manpower Services Finance Officer Jobs Opportunities in Kenya
DescriptionOur client, an NGO Sacco Society body wishes to recruit a dynamic Finance Officer to manage overall financial affairs.
Responsibilities
Cash book Management
Posting receipts for different banks and in different currencies
Online inputting of payments in various online platforms
Preparation of payment vouchers
Petty cash reimbursement and payment processing
Bi- weekly bank reconciliation
Creditors
Booking of invoices while matching with the LPO
Payment of supplier bills
Reconciliation of creditors control with the aged accounts payable
Reconciliation of ledger balances with supplier statements.
Ensure taxes are withheld where necessary and the subsequent payment of the taxes
General Ledger
Reconciliation of various sub ledger accounts with the general ledger e.g Loan listing and loan summary
Posting of Journal entries
Keen management and control of prepayment account
Keen management and control of accrual accounts
Member accounts
Receipting of remittances and proper allocation to either loan, share capital, deposits ETC
Processing of inter member and inter account transfers by journal entry
Account reconciliation and production of member statements
Verification of loans and disbursement
Preparation of audit schedules
Fixed assets management – Posting, depreciation, tagging and identification
Preparation of various reports as may be requested from time to time.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Commerce or business related degree from a recognized University
CPA (K) qualification.
Minimum of 2 years accounting experience
Experience from Saccos/Financial institutions will have an added advantage
Mastery of MS Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word.
High degree of competence, integrity and professionalism.
Extreme flexibility, with a strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit to accommodate high level of responsibility and multiple priorities.
Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
Attention to detail, Articulate, and willing to take initiative (Self driven).

The Marketing & Communications Manager should be a competent professional able to understand consumer behaviour trends and generate creative ideas that appeal to the target markets. S/He should be passionate about motorcycles and well versed in specialized marketing concepts, principles and tactics in order to deliver effective marketing programs that will help our reputation and growth.
Responsibilities
Implementation of marketing and PR plans and programs (50%)
Prepare Annual Marketing Plan in liaison with the RM, SM, DDM, the ASSM and Commercial Director
Follow up on jobs briefed to PR, Events and Advertising Agencies to ensure results are delivered on time
Identify new marketing channels and opportunities in line with their target markets
Coordinate
development, procurement and distribution of product brochures and other marketing and promotional materials
Support appointed agents, dealers and service centres in compiling and executing marketing activities in their regions
Brainstorm and develop creative ideas with agencies, client resellers, and client sales team for creative marketing campaigns
Grow the company market share
Develop PR campaigns and media relations strategies
Devise creative public relations strategies in line with the company profile
External & Internal Communications (30%)
Coordinate marketing activities with Creative Agencies to ensure the company’s corporate image is maintained
Compile event plan briefs based on the requirements agreed upon by creative agencies and the Business Development Manager
Follow up marketing suppliers and ensure proper documentation and record keeping process is adhered to for approval and record keeping
Generate post-event reports and sharing them with line managers
Manage the company social media accounts (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat etc.)
Market analysis (15%)
Collect potential customer’s data during marketing events to support the sales team in prospecting
Collect data from the competitors on products and prices
Monitor the market trends and presenting them to the management team monthly
Conduct market research to find about consumer requirements, habits and trends
Assist in analysing market data (campaign results, conversion rates, etc.) to help shape future sales strategies
Update the competitor analysis on a weekly basis and report this to the Commercial Director
Brand Ambassador (5%)
Be custodian of the Company’s image by managing the information and corporate outlook including branding and staff uniforms where necessary
Ensure proper representation of the Company’s corporate identity in all media platforms
Support the sales team in developing sales pitches as well as standard mode of communication with external clients
Key Performance Indicators
Properly planned and executed marketing plan with monthly and quarterly checkpoints
A clear communication policy and strategy of executing the policy
Timely weekly, monthly, reports to the supervisor
Accurate data driven reports of competition as well as customer profiles
Active online and interactive presence on the Company’s online platforms
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a business related field majoring in Marketing, Communication or PR
At least 3 years experience in leading a marketing department
Previous experience organizing corporate events
Knowledge of social media marketing
Experience dealing with PR firms and mass media outlets
Demonstrated knowledge of pulling, compiling and analyzing data from various sources with the aim of analyzing data
