We are looking for a qualified field guide/game ranger to start asap. The incumbent will be responsible for the implementation and management of all aspects regarding the safari operation.

Requirements

  • FGASA Level 1
  • Valid PrDP
  • Valid first aid certificate
  • Handle and use of a Manually Operated Rifle or Carbine for Business Purposes – SAQA ID 123519
  • NDT registered
  • A passion for nature, animals, conservation and the environment
  • A passion for people and creating a holistic experience, imparting knowledge about the bush and wildlife
  • General vehicle maintenance knowledge
  • Be a team player
  • Have a good command of the English language, written and spoken
  • Be an excellent communicator
  • Be able to anticipate guests' needs and facilitate the small touches that enhance the guest experience
  • A sense of ownership and pride for the guest experience
  • A flexible, positive attitude
  • Be highly sociable and confident when meeting new people and be able to entertain/host
