QualificationsBe a Kenyan citizen;
Served as Assistant Engineer I (Mechanical) or comparable and relevant position for a minimum period of three (3) years
A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized institution
Been registered by Engineers Registration Board of Kenya
Current valid annual Practicing License from the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya
Be a Member of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK)
Attended a Project Development and Management Course lasting not less than four(4) weeks from a recognized Institution and
Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
Have certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution
Responsibilities
Control and supervision of a transport office and fleet of vehicles in the department
Advising and monitoring on servicing, repairs, maintenance and disposal of vehicles, plant and equipment in a department, staff discipline and welfare
Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor
