Position Summary

The Program Administrator shall provide administrative support to all program operations

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide Secretarial and Office management to the Program.

Ensure administration of meetings, recording and management of the meeting records.

Manage the Staff Leave Roster and Travel schedules.

Collaborate, communicate, and provide administrative support in scheduling program events and activities

Establish, monitor, and manage the Semester-based activity schedule for capacity building programmes for staff and Mastercard Foundation Scholars.

Support the Head MIS & Learning in updating the Mastercard Foundation Scholars’ ETO Database.

Work closely with the Program Operations Lead in tracking the implementation of the Program  

Support the Recruitment Officer in selection and recruitment of Mastercard Foundation Scholars.

Monitor, identify and report any safeguarding concerns that may arise during the Program implementation

Requirements: Qualification, Skills, and Experience

A Bachelor’s degree in Secretarial Studies or Office Management with shorthand of 100/120 w.p.m.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and MIS/Software to facilitate Program workflow.

Experience in record keeping and drafting letters/Memos/Minutes and report writing

Experience in providing administrative support to a Scholarship Program in an Institution of Higher Learning.

Experience in co-ordinating recruitment of youth onto an education program

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in secretarial responsibilities or administrative services in an Institution of Higher Learning
