Maintenance Technician Jobs at The High Commission of Canada to Kenya
The High Commission of Canada to Kenya is hiring an indeterminate Maintenance Technician.
The Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs at all properties within the High Commission of Canada’s real estate portfolio; perform specific work, such as plumbing, welding, masonry, electrical and carpentry tasks; and prepare and effect a preventative maintenance program.
Qualifications:
Language: Proficiency in English — (reading, writing, comprehension and speaking)
Education: Completion of secondary school AND a Technical and/or Mechanical Engineering Diploma (3-year diploma) from a recognized institution (e.g. national polytechnic diploma in plumbing, plant engineering, welding and fabrication).
Experience: Recent experience* in plumbing, carpentry or other related fields.
Recent experience means five years of experience within the past seven years.
