Machakos County Public Service Board Medical Laboratory Technician Jobs in Kenya



Duties and Responsibilities.

  • Cleaning and sterilizing laboratory glass ware, surfaces and equipment;

  • Packaging, transporting, submitting, processing and preserving test samples;

  • receiving and recording submitted samples;

  • Preparing laboratory reagents;

  • Documenting and receiving samples for analysis; and

  • Disposing laboratory waste.

    Requirement for Appointment.

  • Certificate in any of the following fields: Laboratory Science, Laboratory Technology or Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution;

  • Certificate in Computer applications skills from a recognized institution.

  • Have registration certificate by Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians & Technologists Board (KMLTTB) and

  • A valid practising license from Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians & Technologists Board (KMLTTB)
