Position SummaryThe COP will focus on developing and overseeing the implementation of strategy within the livestock value chain, technical supervision of market systems activities, leading the thinking around provision of facilitated infrastructure, and strategic coordination and development within the overall portfolio related to livestock.
S/he will lead the overall management of the project and ensure the project efficiently meets or exceeds performance targets while maintaining compliance with USAID rules and regulations.
QualificationsDeep commitment to LWR's core values and ability to model those values in relationships with colleagues and partners.
Advanced degree in business, agronomy, livestock, animal health and science, livestock management, or related field
Minimum ten years of progressively responsible supervisory work experience including direct supervision of professional and support staff and assembling teams working on multi-faceted international development projects, preferably in Africa
Proven Chief of Party experience on a large, complex USAID-funded contract of comparable complexity and scope
Ability to collaborate successfully with host-country government officials, international donors, and private sector stakeholders.
Extensive management experience and strong leadership and communication skills required.
Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity.
Strong communications and interpersonal skills with evidence of ability to productively interact with a wide range and levels of organizations (producers, government, private sector, NGOs, and research institutions).
Demonstrated ability to build coalitions and networks that can provide synergies and sustainable solutions to food security issues
Fluency in written and spoken English
Experience in conflict areas or similar environments preferred

Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee and train the refugee Community Rehabilitation staffs on assessments of clients and determination of appropriate interventions. Review and develop additional assessment and/or outcome measurement tools, as needed.
Assist in day-to-day operations of the program to ensure objectives are met. Coordinate physiotherapy team, and strengthen collaboration and mutual understanding with CBR teams to ensure high quality interdisciplinary care to clients
Design and carryout training programs for Rehabilitation staffs – including ongoing trainings, mentoring, modeling, observing and conducting supervision sessions.
Design and carryout assessments in the community to determine Rehabilitation interventions that are available to Persons with disabilities, Network, strengthen collaborations and provide training to other organizations to better address the needs of Pwds.
Prepare and submit regular reports documenting CBR activities and progress achieved toward program goals.
Participate in the design and implementation of project monitoring plans, validation of tools and manuals, and internal project evaluation. Monitor and ensure adequate data collection of Rehabilitation services.
Work closely with CBR committee, leaders and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure the needs of clients are addressed appropriately
Support in conducting assessment of clients(PSN) undergoing voluntary repatriation, in close collaboration with UNHCR (United Nations High Commission for refugees)
Qualification/Requirements
Diploma in Physiotherapy (KMTC)
Registered & Licensed by Kenya Society of Physiotherapist(KSP)
2 years Minimum Experience
Experience working in Community Based Rehabilitation programs will be an added advantage
Previous work experience in hardship,
marginalized areas or emergency setting.
Possession of Valid Certificate of Good Conduct

Lutheran World Service Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist Kenya Jobs
Duties:
Manage the project's monitoring and evaluation activities. This will include guiding the technical direction of the M&E approach and strategy; as well as oversee and coordinate work related to monitoring and evaluation activities of the project.
Understand donor requirements and ensure required data for donor reporting is available.
Support the development and implementation of ICT-enabled M&E system.
Oversee baseline, mid-term, and final evaluation consultants.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (Masters preferable) in evaluation, public policy, quantitative economics, and/or related field is required.
Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive professional experience in monitoring and evaluation of international development projects
Demonstrated experience using a mix of informational sources and research methods to analyze project progress, communicate findings to a range of external and internal stakeholders, and apply learning to work planning.
Experience in West Africa region is highly desirable.
Experience on agriculture-related projects is highly desirable.
Knowledge of different M&E tools, approaches, and methods in addition to experience working with grant making organizations.
Working experience in training, coaching and mentoring teams in monitoring-related techniques and methods.
Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
