The Position

Lori is seeking a hands-on Front End Engineer to join our Product team. The ideal candidate has prior experience in building a Web/Mobile from the ground up; possesses expert knowledge of Software usability; loves responsive mobile-first development and has high confidence levels in handling end-to-end frontend UI/UX implementations.

Responsibilities

Developing new user-facing features using React.js/ React Native

Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use (experience with micro-frontends preferred)

Creating and translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency

Work closely with Backend engineers to wire API’s to Frontends and advise possible API redesigns to improve Frontend performance.

Requirements

BSc in Computer Science or Math

4 - 7 years of relevant experience

Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them

Experience with markup languages, including HTML, CSS, pre-processing platforms such as SASS, Minifiers and Bundlers.

Understanding of cross-browser testing, compatibility issues as ways to work around them

Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.

Expertise in ReactJS, ReactNative, JavaScript, NodeJS
