About Us:

Biz Mkononi is seeking for a talented and motivated Graphic Designer Intern to join our creative team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities:

Graphic Design:

Assist in creating visually appealing and on-brand graphics for various projects, including but not limited to, social media posts, website assets, presentations, marketing materials, and print collateral.

Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm, conceptualize, and develop creative solutions that meet project objectives and deadlines.

Software Proficiency:

Utilize industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, etc.) to create and edit graphics, illustrations, and layouts.

Concept Development:

Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate ideas for visual content that align with project goals and target audience.

Typography and Layout:

Ensure that typography, layout, and composition are aesthetically pleasing and consistent with brand guidelines.

Feedback Integration:

Actively engage with feedback from team members and clients to refine designs and deliver high-quality work.

File Management:

Maintain organized files and folders for easy retrieval and collaboration with team members.

Stay Updated on Design Trends:

Keep up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices.

Communication and Collaboration:

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, and development, to ensure cohesive design

executions.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.

Proficiency in design software

Strong understanding of design principles, including typography, layout, and color theory.

Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative design concepts.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Portfolio showcasing relevant design work (if available).
