Living Goods Projects Manager Jobs in Uganda

Summary

The purpose of this role is to lead in the design, implementation and reporting on donor and special projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

Develop detailed project & partnership plans to be shared internally and with external stakeholders.

Define key performance indicators and routinely measure and report project performance (weekly, monthly, quarterly reports) using appropriate tools and techniques.

Denvelop, implement and monitor project operating budgets inclusive of trainings, staff level of effort, stake holder engagements, research, and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.

Ensure that all projects & partnerships are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

Perform risk assessment and come up with suggestions to minimize project risks

Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with key stakeholders including ministry of health, district leadership, implementing partners and the community.

Manages communications across the organization especially sharing project updates and best practices.

Work with field operations teams to ensure a high level of compliance and quality in project activity executions.

Monitor

implementation across field operations to track progress specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals

Attend meetings, conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Education and Experience

At least 7 years of project management experience in the health sector

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus

Bachelor's Degree in health-related disciplines, Maters degree is a plus
