Lifelink Hospital Finance Manager Jobs in Uganda

Job Purpose:

To oversee effective operations of the Finance and Accounting department, ensure accurate and reliable data capture, appropriate use of finance and accounting principles and standards, be in charge of finances and tax planning and compliance to regulatory policies and standards.

Education, Experience and Competencies

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related discipline from a recognized university.

Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related discipline is desirable

Professional Accounting qualification completed (ACCA or CPA)

Certification in any of the following: Certified Tax Advisor (CTA) or Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) will be an added advantage

Full membership of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU)

Minimum of 5 years’ experience with a reputable organization of which at least 3 years must be as Manager or Supervisory level

Experience in auditing medical facilities and exposure with a reputable audit firm will be added advantage

Minimum Age of 35 years

Free of any criminal record

Experience in a medical setting offers an added advantage

Possess strong leadership qualities

High level of professional competency and experience

Good understanding of QA systems, and accounting Standards

Good communication skills

Good knowledge of tax laws and regulations

Good understanding of risk control, mitigation and management
