Legal Resources Foundation Trust Executive Director Jobs

Legal Resources Foundation Trust (LRF) is a national organization that promotes access to justice through legal literacy, action research and policy advocacy.



LRF seeks to recruit an Executive Director to join its dynamic team of staff based in its head office in Nairobi.


Reporting to: the Chairperson Board of Trustees, the Executive Director, will be in charge of leadership and governance; Institutional Management and Resource mobilization.


Specific Duties and Responsibilities


Leadership and governance:


  • Leadership in developing, reviewing, upgrading and compliance in Institutional policies and guidelines.
  • Secretary to the Board of Trustees and related committees.
  • Ensuring adherence to institutional policies.
  • Maintaining compliance with statutory bodies.

    Institutional Management:

  • Represent and provide leadership in national, regional and international advocacy, policy and public interest litigation in collaboration with relevant agencies and committees.
  • Lead the organizational strategy and alignment of the operational plans in line with Kenya's Constitution 2010, Vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals. Resource mobilization


    Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • Academic Qualifications: Masters Degree preferably in Development studies, Law, Criminology or any other relevant Social science,
  • Plus a minimum of 6 years relevant working experience in Civil Society
    with at least 2 years in senior management.
