Legal Officer I Job at Anti-Counterfeit AgencyJob Reference: ACA/LO/7Legal Officer Job ResponsibilitiesThe Legal Officer I is responsible to the Senior Legal Officer and will:-
drawing legal documents and opinions;
drafting charges;
attending court ;
compiling and filing court documents;
requisitioning and receiving legal documents;
drawing and filing pleadings in court;
providing legal advice;
reviewing of files corresponding with external lawyers; and
performing any other duty as may be assigned by the management
Requirements for the Legal Officer Job
For appointment to the grade of a Legal Officer I, a person must have: –
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized institution.
Must be an advocate of the High Court of Kenya
Certificate of good standing from Law Society of Kenya
Must hold current practicing certificate or appropriate exemptions,
Must have clearance certificate from Advocates Complaints Commission
At least three (3) years working experience in litigation.
Demonstrated administrative and professional competence in work performance. and
Attended a supervisory course from a recognized institution.

Higher Education Loans Board
(HELB),
Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA),
Criminal Investigation Department (CID),
Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC); and
Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
