College Background informationLedeg Midwifery College is a non-for-profit health science college dedicated to provide Midwifery Education at degree (BSC) level.
It is providing the training at Generic (12 complete for four years) and upgrade (nurse diploma and/or Level-4 midwife for two and half years) levels.
The college has got accreditation by HERQA and license by the Ministry of Trade in 2018. The college is aspiring to be a Center of Excellence in Midwifery training producing highly qualified BSC midwives at national and international standard.
We employ a “Social Enterprise Model”—charging reasonable school fee for those from urban towns and offer full scholarship for students from emerging regions (where maternal and child death is relatively high).
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Perform pre-test in view of understanding the specific course content,
Provide the course as per the content outline stated in the agreed upon curriculum in a professional and ethical manner,
Prepare teaching material and other supplementary material for the courses he/she offers,
Provide additional Reference materials as necessary,
Treat students equally irrespective of age, sex, nationality, personal bias etc, Arrange make-up classes to compensate for the classes he/she may miss and Provide continuous and final Assessment (Examination).
Job Requirements
Required Educational level/Specialization
MD / MD + Pathology specialization
Years of Experience
At least two years related and relevant experience
Preferably at Higher Education Institutions
