Job DetailsTo support and manage all clinical operations by delivering appropriate, consistently high quality and cost-effective preventive and curative clinical services to all patients and their families in a professional manner.

Roles and Responsibilities
Record patients’ medical records and monitor vital signs.
Supervising nursing staff and monitoring their needs.
Coordinating daily administrative duties, including schedules, nursing assignments and patient care.
Overseeing patient admissions, transfers and discharges.
Mentoring and training new staff and providing support and guidance to all staff members.
Monitoring medical charts and providing compassionate care and assistance to patients and families.
Liaising with doctors and administrators and communicating any protocol changes to staff.
Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations
Handle complaints appropriately in accordance with the Hospital’s Policies and procedures in place
Recording and maintaining accurate reports.
Identifying issues or emergencies and responding in a calm and efficient manner.
Ensuring that confidentiality is maintained at all times
Key Performance Measures
High customer satisfaction rating.
Management of operating costs and wastage
Turnaround time in patient services delivery and follow up.
Adherence to hospital processes and procedures by all staff.

Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications
First degree in the following fields: Medical training, clinical Medicine, mental health, Public health, Psychology with 2 years’ experience OR Diploma level in Nursing/Clinical Medicine with 5 years’ experience.
Must have managed a medical service delivery unit for a minimum of 2 years.
Experience in mental health will be an added advantage
