ResponsibilitiesPrepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and / or the client;
Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work:
Assist in establishing a client’s requirements and undertake feasibility studies;
Perform risk, value management and cost control;
Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks;
Prepare and analyse costing for tender;
Allocate work to subcontractors;
Provide advice on contractual claims;
Analyse outcomes and write detailed progress reports:
Value completed work and arrange payments;
Maintain awareness of the different building contracts in current use;
Understand the implications of health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
A Bachelor of Arts degree in building economics/ quantity surveying.
Must have at least three (3) years’ experience in the relevant field;
Must be a registered member of the Institute of Quantity Surveyors of Kenya (IQSK) or Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK);
Certificate in Computer applications from a recognized institution; and
Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

Diploma in any of the following discipline:- Public Administration; Business. Administration/Management, Community Development
or any other Social science; plus a Supervisory Management course or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
Have experience of five (5) years in administrative/ Management in public/private sector;
Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution;
Good interpersonal and communication skills;
Ability to learn new skills;

Responsibilities
Reviewing internal control systems in operation and report on any weakness;
Undertaking specific audit assignments and preparing detailed audit observations and reports as required by his / her supervisor;
Reviewing budgetary controls on issuance of authority to incur expenditure and commitments;
Reviewing internal controls on revenue/ appropriation — In- Aid collection and accounting from time to time;

Qualifications

OR Passed Part H of Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Examination or its recognized equivalent qualification.
Knowledge of computer application;

Responsibilities
A Chief Internal Auditor will head one or more divisions of an Internal Audit Unit.
Work at this level will be of wider scope and higher complexity including planning, directing, coordinating, supervising areas of control, training and development of staff under him/ her, setting targets for the division and may occasionally be required to undertake ad hoc assignments relating to audit services;
The officer will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of consolidated management reports and may occasionally be called upon to assist in preparation of final accounts.

The officer will be responsible for safe custody of Government assets and records under him/her
