    Supply Chain Management Officer II

    Job Group ‘J’

    Ref: LCASB/1/18

    Duties and Responsibilities

  • An officer at this level will perform a variety of Supply Chain Management duties under the guidance of a more senior and experienced officer.
  • He/She will be answerable to the Head of Procurement Department.

    Specific duties and responsibilities will entail

  • warehousing;
  • distribution management;
  • fleet management;
  • disposal of stores and equipment;
  • procurement; market surveys;
  • inventory and stock control, in accordance with the laid down regulations and procedures.

    Requirement for Appointment

  • A candidate must have;
  • Be a Kenyan citizen
  • a Bachelors Degree in any of the following;- Commerce, Business Administration (Supplies Management Option), Economics, Procurement and Supplies Management, Marketing or their equivalent from a recognized Institution.
  • a certificate in Computer Applications.
  • Must be a member of KISM
  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant working experience
