Salary Scale: Kshs. 29,464 – 39,776 per month

Terms of Service: 3 years contract Renewable subject to satisfactory performance

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for driving University bus

Adhere to the High Way Code

Be courteous and professional in dealing with passengers

Ensure all trips are properly authorized

Provide advice and coach other drivers

Observe daily preventive maintenance of vehicles.

Any other duties that may be assigned by immediate supervisor which may include driving of other vehicles.

Qualifications

For appointment to this post, a candidate must have;

Be a holder of KCSE - D (Plain)

Passed Occupational Trade Test I for Drivers

Driving License class D1/D2/D3 for new generation or class A/B/C/E for old generation

Exemplary work performance

Evidence of training in Craft certificate or basic Mechanical or knowledge in vehicle wiring will be an added advantage

At least 3 years continuous driving experience as a bus driver
