Responsibilities

  • Assisting physically challenged (hearing impaired) individuals understand the proceedings of the plenary,

  • Facilitating communication with the hearing impaired through sign language,

  • Providing accurate accounts of proceedings in sign language,

  • Performing any other duty as may be assigned from time to time.

    Requirements

  • Diploma in special needs education.

  • Certificate in sign language interpretations from a recognized institution.

  • Must be Computer literate.

  • Knowledge in brail writing and reading is added advantage.
