We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Picture Framer / Photobook Specialist

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Job Type: Full Time

Job Brief

We are looking to recruit picture framers to help manage the department and ensure efficiency and service delivery.

Responsibilities

Meet clients to determine their picture, mirror and crafts framing requirements.

Study items that need to be framed, and provide clients with advice on appropriate solutions.

Provide clients with information on possible framing and restoration timelines and costs.

Extract pictures from old frames, making sure that they are not torn or damaged, and place them carefully in new ones.

Remove old finishes by stripping using steel wool and glass paper, and by applying solvents and paint strippers.

Place pictures in new frames or on mounts, and ensure that they are safely and properly affixed on them.

Fit and fasten frame pieces and mount backing materials and subjects for framing purposes.

Set up and operate woodworking and wood stock machines to ensure that

proper framing solutions are carried out.

Place glass on top of framed pictures, ensuring that it is properly affixed, leaving no room for falling out.

Cut cardboard pieces and ensure that it is properly fit into the frame, to keep pictures steady and safe.

Requirements

Hands-on experience in production of photobooks from start to finish

Hands-on experience in the production of Frames from start to finish

A minimum of 2 years experience.

Salary

N50,000 - N100,000 / month.
