Kwale County Village Administrator Jobs in Kenya

Responsibilities


A village administrator shall be responsible to the relevant Ward Administrator for;

  • Coordinating managing and supervising the general administrative functions in the Village Unit
  • Ensuring and coordinating the participation of the Village Unit in governance
  • Assisting the Village Unit to develop the administrative capacity for the effective exercise of its functions, powers and participations in governance at the local level.
  • Exercising any functions and powers delegated by the County Public Service Board.

    Requirements

    For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have either of the below listed certificate from a recognized institution

  • Be a Kenyan Citizen
  • Have a minimum of a Secondary School Certificate
  • Have professional qualifications and technical knowledge in administration or management and
  • You must be a resident of Mabesheni/Mtaa Village Unit
  • Working experience of not less than three years
  • Satisfy the requirement of Chapter Six of the Constitution
