Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -

Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), mean grade C- or its equivalent;

A Diploma (Automotive) or other approved equivalent qualification;

A valid Driving License.

Duties and Responsibilities

The officer will be attached to a motor vehicle or plant repair workshop.

Repair and maintenance of motor vehicles and plant;

Inspect and test vehicles and equipment before and after repairs;

Conduct proficiency test for drivers
