Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this ion grade, an officer must have: -

Served in the grade of Audio-visual Editorial Technician II for a minimum period of three (3) years or post Certificate qualification experience of a period of six (6) years

Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade D+ (plus) with at least C- (minus) in English or Kiswahili or Music or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;

Certificate in audio-visual production, archiving and editing, computer application in audio production and editing lasting not less than one (1) year from recognized institution

Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution;

Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

Duties and Responsibilities

Audio-visual recording, editing, mixing and production, audio-visual archiving, assist in music composition, studio equipment maintenance and undertaking any audio-visual editorial duties that may be assigned

Undertaking any other Audio-visual editorial duties that may be assigned
