KTDA Top Loader Machine Operator Jobs in Kenya

Reporting to Officer Yard Operations, the job holder will be responsible for effective operations of the top loader machine.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Daily routine checkup of the machine-engine oil, hydraulic oil, water level.

Offloading and loading of container cargo as per yard plan.

Reporting normal/major service when due.
Reporting any machine defects.

Minimize running and maintenance costs of Top loader machine.

Observe safety measures when using the machine to avoid accidents.

Ensure compliance to quality and food safety sector requirements

Perform any other relevant duties that may be assigned by the supervisor

Knowledge and Skills Required:

The Job holder must possess the following;

KCSE holder

Valid Top loader driver’s certificate from a reputable institution.

Valid Driving license BCEI (Forklift)

Minimum of three (3) continuous years of experience in a busy container freight station operations

Must demonstrate high integrity and ethical practice

Must demonstrate ability to execute work assigned with minimum supervision

Must be a team player who is able to work cordially in teams

Must demonstrate ability to multitask.

Should have ability to solve problems by applying relevant knowledge

Must have the ability to communicate for both written and oral communication

Must be able to work under pressure
