KRA Chief Manager - Strategy & Planning (Supply Chain Management) Jobs in Kenya

Purpose of the job

Coordination with internal and external stakeholders to enforce best practices in Supply Chain Management.

Key Responsibilities

Development and review of Supply Chain Management Strategy, policies, procedures and processes.

Consolidation of the Annual Procurement Plan (APP) in line with statutory requirements as well as implementation for specific categories.

Management of systems and processes within the Supply Chain Management for value realization.

Ensure compliance with the Statutory, Corporate, Small and Medium Enterprises (SME’s) and Special Interest Groups development requirements.

Management of performance, audit, integrity, QMS and risk programmes

Academic qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field from a recognized University.

A Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field from a recognized University is an added advantage.

Professional qualification

Professional Level Diploma MCIPS(UK) / CPSP-K (Kenya) or equivalent

Member in good standing and Licensed Practitioner KISM (Kenya Institute of Supplies Management)

Work experience

Minimum seven (7) years in Supply Chain Management with at least three (3) years in a Senior Management level.

Key Competencies:

Good leadership and managerial skills

Attention to details and ability to work under minimum supervision

Ability to research and propose suitable solutions/products for business improvement.

Excellent interpersonal, conflict management, written and oral communication skills.
