Our client, the KPA Pension Scheme is undergoing a transformation to streamline its operations in order to realise its envisioned growth and efficiency in service delivery to its members.
In view of this, the Scheme wishes to recruit a transformational individual to occupy the following position:
Investment Assistant - HR/SA/PKF 12
Responsible for providing operational and administrative support in the Investment Section through maintenance of accurate data and information including market trends of investment.
Roles and Responsibilities
Assist in investment reports on both the financial and non-financial assets;
Maintain accurate Investment Register;
Assist in the forward planning on investments;
Assist in preparing investment reports on a monthly basis.
Assist in preparation of investment proposals;
Assist in looking for prospects from the referral, leads and any other sources;
Assist in reviewing business trends and collecting investment related data;
Making presentations to be used by the Investments and Property Officer to relevant parties;
Perform any other duties as may be assigned.
Knowledge and Skills Required
Bachelor Degree in any of the following disciplines: Marketing, Business Administration/ Management, Commerce (marketing), Entrepreneurship or its equivalent
Must have at least a minimum of three (3)
years of experience working in a similar position
Should be a CPA (II) holder or ACCA, ACA qualifications
Must possess excellent judgment and common sense
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Must possess excellent written and oral skills
Should have strong problem-solving skills and be able to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
Should be a self-starter, energetic, efficient, and resourceful team player and individual contributor
Must have leadership and supervisory skills
Must possess sound interpersonal and team-building skills
Must be able to work under pressure
Must have proven problem-solving skills and knowledge on conflict management
Must have excellent negotiation skills
