Job Title:

Project Management Officer

Duties and responsibilities

Assisting documentation of project progress tracking
against deadlines in accordance to project schedules;

Assisting in documentation of the developed functional
and system design specifications for KOTDA
engagements with all contracted stakeholders;

Assisting preparation of reports on deliverables from
contracted stakeholder’s;

Working closely with the Project Officer to ensure
project issues are identified, tracked, reported and
resolved in a timely manner;

Assisting in proactively communicating project status,
issues and risks to the Project Officer;

Supporting documentation of developed Project
Management Tools and strategies including project,
communication, quality, risk and configuration plans
for Konza Projects;

Supporting documentation of updated project tools and
strategies for Konza Projects during project execution
and communicate needed changes in a timely manner.

Person Specification

For appointment to this grade, the candidate must have:

Bachelors degree in Project Management or any other
equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;

Proficiency in computer applications;

Registrable qualifications with relevant professional
bodies

Fulfil requirements of Chapter Six of the constitution
