Konza Technopolis Development Authority (KoTDA), a parastatal under the Ministry of ICT, Innovation and Youth Affairs is the implementing agency for Konza Technopolis, a Vision 2030 flagship project that seeks to create a world class smart city driven by innovation in ICT/ITES, Engineering and Life Sciences.
The Authority has put in place an internship/attachment programme as part of on the job training for purpose of moulding interns/attaches to become responsible citizens who will contribute effectively to the socioeconomic development of the country as well as develop their ability to successfully take up employment in various sectors.
This is in recognition of the fact that trainees graduating from training institutions join the labour market with academic and theoretical approaches to work and hence require practical exposure in a real work environment.
The successful candidates shall be selected from applicants who possess the following:
Internship
Application Letter
A Degree/Diploma Certificate in any of the following programmes from a recognized University or college
Project Management
Animation and Design
Marketing/Business Management
PR and Communication
Procurement and Logistics
Finance / Accounts
Structural/Civil/Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering
Biotechnology/Specializations in Lile Sciences
Architecture
Economics
Quantity/Land Surveying
Urban Planning
HR/Public Administration/
Business Administration
Records Management
Library Sciences/Information
Sciences
Law
Statistics/Mathematics/
Actuarial Science
Office Administration
Requirements Fir
Engagement as an Intern
Copies of academic transcripts
Copy of Notional Identification cord
Personal accident insurance to cover for personal risks lasting for at least three (3) months (To provide once engaged)
Medical insurance cover by the National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) or any other reputable medical insurance firm (To provide once engaged)
A copy of PIN certificate
Attachment

Recommendation letter from the Institution and a copy of valid student ID
Copies of academic transcripts
Copy of National Identification card
Personal accident insurance to cover for personal risks lasting for at least three (3) month. (To provide once engaged)
Medical cover provided by the University or College or any other reputable insurance firm
