Kontak Recruitment Agency Network Engineer Jobs in South Africa

As the Network Engineer you will be required to travel to corporate clients and work on site providing support on network equipment and be responsible for cabling.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid drivers license and own transport essential

Minimum of two years experience as a Network Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for cabling (CAT6), installation, configuration and support of network equipment (i.e., access points) across the LAN, WLAN, WAN and SD-Wan, both wired and wireless.

Participate in cross-functional troubleshooting support for internal and external clients and network fault investigations.

Review client requirements and define the optimal networking solutions in accordance with the organizational policies.

Design and implement new network solutions and/or improve the efficiency of current networks.

Strong experience in Unifi/Ubiquiti, Mikrotik and Cambium devices (hardware and software) required.
