Kontak Recruitment Agency Intermediate Support Engineer Jobs in South Africa

As the Intermediate Support Engineer, you will be required to restore lost connectivity and resolve technical issues either remotely or via onsite visits. You should have at least 3 – 5 year’s experience in a Technical Support role with good exposure to Microsoft 365.

Minimum Requirements:

Matric or NQF Level 4 Equivalent

A+, N+

MCSA (1-2 years)

VOIP Experience (1 year)

Office 365 (2 years)

Microsoft 365 certified Modern Desktop Administrator Associate

Microsoft 365 Fundamentals

CCNA of MTCNA beneficial

Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate (Advantage)

Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal direction.

Ability to handle confidential matters, set priorities, work well under pressure with attention to detail.

Valid drivers license and own vehicle required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To assist with monitoring client networks daily, ensuring appropriate action is taken to remedy faults identified.

To take ownership of routine checks and maintenance on client networks and the IT environment.

To keep abreast of modern technologies.

Troubleshoot computer problems and determine the source,

and advise on or perform appropriate corrective action, onsite and remotely.

Assist with project-based work when required.

Engage and coordinate with 3rd party vendors (i.e. DELL; HP) to resolve/ complete open incidents or projects.

Report any ongoing or unresolved problems, or suggestions to improve service delivery to your Team Leader.

Prioritize incidents and the capturing of time entries, working independently.

Configuration, setup, maintenance and troubleshooting of computer systems (hardware and software).
