The Business analyst is responsible for planning, overseeing and leading IT projects from start through to completion. This role requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several moving project parts simultaneously.
Desired qualifications
3-5 years relevant work experience
Sage super user
Relevant tertiary Degree or diploma (Finance, management etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously.
Big picture thinking and vision.
Attention to detail.
Previous financial exposure advantageous.
Previous collections exposure advantageous.
Business acumen.
IT Savy.
Advanced MS office exposure.
Main purpose of the Job:
Achieve high customer satisfaction
Plan, design, develop, and launch efficient information systems and operations systems in support of core organizational functions.
Have experience with Sage implementation (end to end)
Be able to work independently
Using both business and technical skills, you will work directly with various business partners to identify business requirements with sufficient detail and clarity to allow technical solution proposal development.
Apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate,
and resolve systems issues to maximize the benefit of ERP systems.
Conducts analysis of client business processes and functional requirements.
Prepare appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the information.
Analyse the data, evaluates existing application products, and recommends efficient, cost-effective solutions which support client business processes and functional requirements.
Document functional requirements, workflow, and system specifications. Applies technical and business knowledge to analyse client requirements and match them to system functionality.
Interact with management to share knowledge, raise critical issues, and suggest process improvements.
