KN Law Senior Tax associates Jobs in Kenya


  • KN Law LLP is a niche Corporate and Commercial law firm, based in Nairobi with an office in Mombasa.
  • We are a limited liability partnership with a combined experience of over sixty years among the Partners and the Associates.
  • We are a modern, progressive and dynamic law firm that provides a wide range of legal services to a diverse mix of local and international clients.
  • We are currently seeking two Senior Tax Associates, to be based in Mombasa and Nairobi, to join our fast-growing tax advisory and dispute resolution practice.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide clients with tax advisory services, including compliance, planning, and structuring:
    • Preparing various types of tax returns and providing tax related services for clients;
    • Conducing tax health checks:
    • Preparing protests and representing clients at tax assessment meetings, tribunal hearings and appeal hearings;
    • Research and draft technical memoranda regarding local and international tax questions.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree, preferably in law, from a recognized university ACCA/CPA qualification
    • A minimum of three years of experience in tax practice or in a tax authority
    • Tax dispute resolution and litigation experience will be an added advantage
    •
    Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving ability Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments and manage time
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team of professionals
