KMFRI Engineer Jobs in Kenya



Duties and responsibilities in this position will entail:

  • Interpretation of design and costing of research infrastructure, plant and equipment; inspecting and testing of plant and equipment;

  • Designing engineering and infrastructure projects;
    Supervision of infrastructure projects;

  • Generation of site meeting report as directed;

  • Interpretation of design and costing of research infrastructure, plant and equipment; inspecting and testing of plant and equipment;

  • Preparation of bill of quintiles and specification for tendering; and

  • Compilation and summation of departmental quarterly and annual reports.

    Requirements for appointment/Persons Specification

  • At least three (3) years’ relevant work experience;

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in one of the following fields: - Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Building and Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering

  • Associate registration with the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya;

  • Proficiency in computer application; and

  • Meets the requirements of chapter six of the constitution.

  • Good team player; and

  • Ability to work under pressure.
