Duties and responsibilities

This is an entry and training gracle for diploma holders in agriculture related courses. An officer at this level will be deployed in a ward ¢r Agricultural Training Center.
Specific duties and responsibilities will involve:

Coordination of crop related extension activities at the ward level

Mobilizing, training and advising farmers on matters relating to agricultural extension services in a working unit on matters related to Crop Production, horticultural production, Land Development and Planning

Any other duty as assigned from time to time

Qualifications

For appointment to this position, a candidate must have:

Kenyan citizenship

Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C- or its equivalent; and

A diploma in any of the following fields: Agriculture, Horticulture, Food Technology, Agriculture & Home Ecoriomics, Agriculture Education and Extension, Agriculture Economics, Farm Management, Natural Resource Management, Agribusiness or any other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution
